Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Portland, OR)

Cedar Juniper Arts Center is an arts centre in Portland with a full calendar of events, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 128 people based in Portland. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on exhibitions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
