Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Silverline Amber Construction and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 281 people based in Portland. What you will do • Investigate trends in materials orders and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
