Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Portland, OR)

Foxglove Rowan Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Portland, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 179 people based in Portland. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in loan files and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on card disputes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
