Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Philadelphia, PA)

Fernwood Orchard Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Philadelphia, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 280 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Investigate trends in fleet maintenance and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on collection routes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
