Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Philadelphia, PA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Harbor Freight and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in loads and lanes and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
