Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Oakland, CA)

Northwind Harbor Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Oakland area. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Guests remember kindness. What you will do • Investigate trends in guest bookings and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on reviews and feedback. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
