Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (New Orleans, LA)

Rivermark Basin Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around New Orleans, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 390 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on service connections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
