Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Nova Vale Financial Group and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in vendor spend and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on payment disputes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
