Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Jacksonville, FL)

Nova Rook Markets is a Jacksonville retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 486 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in shrink and waste and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on promotions. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
