Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Summit Birch Telecom and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 450 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in service installations and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on outage reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
