Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Grand Rapids, MI)

Harborlight Keystone Foods is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in customer specifications and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
