Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Grand Rapids, MI)

Greenridge Haven Learning Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for learning materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 442 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Investigate trends in learning materials and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on school calendars. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
