Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Grand Rapids, MI)

Lumen Clear Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 52 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Investigate trends in collection routes and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
