Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Mill Environmental Services and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 816 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in collection routes and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
