Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Grand Rapids, MI)

Ironwood Lantern Auto Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for service appointments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on parts orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
