Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (El Paso, TX)

Stonegate Iron Construction is a El Paso contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in project schedules and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on materials orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
