Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Des Moines, IA)

Amberfield Sable Staffing is a Des Moines staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in candidate screening and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on retention. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
