Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Denver, CO)

Harborlight Beacon Housing is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for rent assistance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Investigate trends in rent assistance and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on resident services. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
