Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Cleveland, OH)

Fernwood Cobalt Community Partners runs community programmes across Cleveland. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in volunteer shifts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
