Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Charleston, SC)

Ironwood Cross Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in recycling loads and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on fleet maintenance. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
