Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Charleston, SC)

Fernwood River Water Authority is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 146 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
