Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Buffalo, NY)

Nova Cobalt Learning Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Families are partners. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in student accounts and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
