Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Lumen Lakeside Telecom and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Investigate trends in service installations and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
