Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Boise, ID)

Cedar Amber Insurance Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 928 people based in Boise. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in policy renewals and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
