Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Redstone Forge Telecom Group is a telecommunications provider in Birmingham focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. We invest in training. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in field visits and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
