Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Bright Birch Inspection Services and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 195 people based in Austin. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in field inspections and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on client sites. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
