Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Bright Meridian Health and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Austin. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in insurance authorisations and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
