Senior Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Bright Keystone Freight and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 137 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Investigate trends in carrier rates and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on dock schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
