Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Tucson, AZ)

Bright Glen Foods is a Tucson food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Investigate trends in production batches and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on cold storage. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
