Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Tucson, AZ)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Wilder Insurance and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in catastrophe response and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on premium billing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
