Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Tucson, AZ)

Amberfield West Freight is a Tucson logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Investigate trends in customer tracking and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on loads and lanes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
