Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Tampa, FL)

Fernwood River Water Authority is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in meter reading and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on pipe repairs. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
