Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Tampa, FL)

Ironwood Quarry Freight is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 197 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Investigate trends in loads and lanes and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on carrier rates. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
