Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Seattle, WA)

Stonegate Meadow Insurance is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for catastrophe response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on premium billing. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
