Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Seattle, WA)

Fernwood Meridian Inspection Services Group tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Seattle, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 145 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in scheduling and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on certifications. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
