Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Seattle, WA)

Harborlight Juniper Civic Services Partners works with county and city offices around Seattle. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in public records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on constituent requests. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
