Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (San Diego, CA)

Stonegate Ivory Transit Planning is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in fare systems and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on service alerts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
