Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (San Antonio, TX)

Amberfield Basin Banking Services is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for loan files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in loan files and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on branch operations. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
