Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Lantern Insurance and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in policy renewals and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on claims. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
