Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Rochester, NY)

Northwind Fox Insurance Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Investigate trends in policy renewals and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on premium billing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
