Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Rochester, NY)

Stonegate Cobalt Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in warranty claims and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on parts orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
