Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Rochester, NY)

Nova Sable Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in repair requests and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on resident services. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
