Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Rochester, NY)

Redstone Clear Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on carrier rates. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
