Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (Richmond, VA)

Lumen Wilder Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Richmond, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 398 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
