Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Bright Birch Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Cleveland, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our operations reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in outage response and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service connections. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
