Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Summit Beacon Water Authority is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in pipe repairs and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
