Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Stonegate Corner Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Rochester area. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 167 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in attendance records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on student accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
