Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Junction Water Authority and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be operations reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 59 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
