Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Rivermark Cross Foods is a Virginia Beach food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on operations reporting. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in production batches and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
