Senior Data Analyst - operations reporting (remote)

Bright Clear Energy is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on operations reporting for usage data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in usage data and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
